The company has grown steadily and the manufacturing and warehousing facility in Langley performs R&D on new systems and products, as well as manufacturing acrylic based coatings under the Preswitt and Presidential labels. The company works closely with the design community and being a local manufacturer is able to service the needs of architects and contractors in a timely manner. The customer base consists of qualified local contractors and dealerships located in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and Alberta.

Preswitt is about to embark on another exciting chapter. Recent technical enhancements have been made to Preswitt's EIF Rainscreen System. In response to the City of Vancouver Buildings Inspection Department, the company has created a virtually foolproof system where even if water gets behind the insulation, it will drain. Such water penetration should never happen if detailing is properly specified, if proper flashings are installed and if application is done correctly. The Preswitt system – which incorporates Insulation Board, Reinforcing Fabric, Adhesive Compound/Basecoat and Acrylic Finish – pioneered the development of energy efficient wall cladding in the Pacific Northwest. The system can be used as a complete cladding and insulation system for new buildings, retrofit applications and with prefabricated panel systems.

Preswitt products have been successfully specified for thousands of applications including multi-family and single family residential, industrial, commercial and institutional buildings and for unique and durable feature walls. Preswitt coatings are gaining popularity for interior applications, which is a huge market that has hardly been touched. The company is currently looking at expanding its market to the Pacific Rim countries and the president has already made trips to China in this regard.
