The Government Standards Building located at 3625 Lougheed Hwy. in Burnaby BC, underwent a seismic retrofit that included the use of the Polyplast Strengthening System. The previously unreinforced masonry walls were covered with multiple layers of polyplast, and steel reinforcing that was attached to the roof and foundation. These interior walls were then finished with a veneer plaster, and painted.
