SILICONE-ACRYLIC WATER REPELLANT and SEALER

DESCRIPTION

A blend of acrylic resin emulsion and a siliconates, the coating will dry to a clear tough film and protect the substrate from the damaging effects of the weather, airborne dirt and pollutants. The sealer also contains an additive that provides algae and mildew resistance. Virtually no darkening or change of colour will occur when this clear coating is applied. The coating will not yellow and has excellent water vapour transmission properties. Common areas where the sealer is used include acrylic stucco, precast panels, exterior masonry walls, concrete blocks, stone walls and architectural concrete.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Apply over dry substrate by means of a brush or roller. Spraying is not recommended since the material should be applied evenly. Ambient temperature should be over 5ºC/40ºF. On very porous substrates, two coats are recommended for improved performance. The material reduces the adhesion of subsequent caulking, paints or other coatings.

CLEANING

Clean all tools and equipment promptly with water.

COVERAGE

25-50m² per 4 litres depending on substrate. Available in 4 litre and 20 litre containers.

STORAGE

Store in a cool place. Protect from freezing.

CAUTION
