Material Warranty

Preswitt Manufacturing Ltd. ("Preswitt") warrants that materials manufactured by Preswitt Manufacturing Ltd. will meet performance specifications as described in the instructions, advertising and other literature authorized by Preswitt when applied in strict accordance with manufacturer's specifications and application instructions.

Preswitt will replace materials if the products are proven to have been defective and provided that not more than 3 years have elapsed since time of delivery. No other warrantys are expressed or implied.

Preswitt offers limited labor and materials warranties of up to 10 years, depending on product selection. For copies of warrantys, contact your local Preswitt distributor, sales or technical representative.

The Preswitt EIF and Rainscreen EIF Systems are multi-component Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems consisting of,

· a cement based coating for water proofing/air barrier/retarding vapor,
· adhesive,
· insulation board,
· base coat,
· reinforcing mesh and
· finish coat.

These components, when properly integrated with other components of construction, form a barrier wall that is intended to resist water penetration at its outer surface. A barrier wall is not designed to drain or eliminate moisture behind it. The accumulation of moisture behind the Preswitt EIF and Rainscreen EIF Systems could result in building damage. As with any cladding, proper detailing and integration with other components of construction by a qualified design or construction professional, including the proper use of flashing, to prevent to accumulation of moisture within the wall assembly is essential. Preswitt assumes no liability for workmanship, design or engineering.
